![]() Again you can see the results and hope they work ion the video above. There are 3 different algorithms you can use here Normal, Very Noisy or Very Blurry and they all work differently on your image depending on the exact issue with the photograph. I also adjust the settings manually to regain more detail which did help a bit again. This basically does what it says, it’s primed to correct your focus so for example in my video above the sheep was just out of focus, I popped it into Sharpen AI and clicked on Out of Focus with everything set to Auto and let it process the file, it worked really well and really pulled back the focus on the sheep so it does work. The Motion Blur option in Sharpen AI is primed at correcting the entire image and removing that motion blur from your image and it works well, again I recommend you try it out for yourself to really get a feel for it. Motion blur is basically where either your camera has moved when you were taking the photograph (camera shake ,often a result of longer focal lengths) or you used a shutter speed that was too slow as your subject was moving when you were taking your photograph. So I'm not buying. No Topaz Sharpen AI Review would be complete without talking about the three different modes or algorithms built into Sharpen AI and how they all work differently and can be applied to your image in a different way. Strangely, it will let me get to checkout with both a $49 and the $99 in my basket, and tries to charge me $148, even though the latter includes the former. I have three of the apps, all out of maintenance. I didn't see the $36 price until I had actually gone to checkout for $55.99, when the all-products deal came up. but Gigapixel and Studio were already up to date. Maybe it depends on how many products you own? I just got my Sharpen AI upgraded also, under the same deal. I just did the deal and am in process of upgrading to new DeNoise AI now. This was a complete no-brainer, as I also have Sharpen AI, Gigapixel AI, and Topaz Studio. I went to renew my DeNoise AI and was offered a deal of $55.99 for it, or unlimited upgrades for all products for $36.52, not $99 as previously priced. No, I think it's $49 for one product, $99 for two or more. Yes, DeNoise is only useful for RGB images if you use DXO now it has DeepPrime. But now that I have little use for DeNoise AI, and have hardly used Gigapixel since I bought it, I might only upgrade Sharpen AI, but only when it adds useful new capabilities or improved output, not just UI tweaks. Yes, I certainly intend to use it if/when I eventually upgrade my Topaz AI products. ![]() The discount coupon from davidkelly works on upgrades. I don't think the sale discount applied to upgrades, did it? The sale was to sell new products, and was particularly focused on getting people to buy the full set of AI products. There are coupons always available for a discount. Topaz offer an upgrade to all of their "photo" app bundle for $99 so the more of the "photo apps" the cheaper the upgrade. So you don't get the "I upgraded to a new version 3 months ago and now they have released a new version". Remember that unlike a traditional perpetual license you will get a years worth of updates from whenever you purchase the upgrade. Obviously you just missed the BlackFriday sale but other sales will come There are improvements in the latest version take a look at the Topaz site for details see if they appeal to you? If Denoise is working for you I wouldn't upgrade. Is anyone else paying to upgrade and do you notice any must have improvements in the new version over the old? I clicked on "renew" and was brought to a screen to pay $79 for the "renewal" privilege. Got a message that a new version was available but only if I "renewed" my license. Just opened Topaz de-noise AI, first time using it in a while.
